Description:

The SwarmPulse service allows for collective visualization and sharing of sensor data, text messages, media files and various other kinds of data. The Swarmpulse project was designed for collecting different types of Sensor Data (e.g. Light, Noise, Temperature, Acceleration etc.) from Mobile phones and IoT devices. The data that is collected is used for building various smart and useful services for its users. One specific usage of the Swarmpulse service is the geovisualization of the Light, Noise, Temperature and Mercalli Intensity Scale  measurements in a specific region or location using heatmaps and clusters.

The SwarmPulse project started as an independent service with its own set of Mobile Apps, Server, Database and Website for geovisualization of sensor data. Currently it has been merged with the Nervousnet Platform. The Swarmpulse server and database has been replaced with the Nervousnet distributed set of servers. Both the platforms currently use the same set of distributed Servers for collection and storing of sensor data.
